Why learn with us
Your local driving school in Tolworth — test route specialists
We are a Tolworth-based driving school, not a national franchise. Our instructors drive the Tolworth and Morden test routes every single week, know exactly where examiners take you and where faults cluster, and adapt every lesson to how you learn.
Local test route specialists
Tolworth (KT6 7RZ) and Morden (SM4 4PE). We keep up with every route change and teach the tricky bits: Tolworth Roundabout, the A3 slip roads, Ewell Road, Hook Rise and the Rose Hill roundabout.
Lessons adapted to you
Our instructors are trained to teach the way each learner learns — nervous, confident, fast, cautious, returning after years off. We change the lesson to suit you, not the other way round.
DVSA-approved, DBS checked
Every instructor is a DVSA Approved Driving Instructor holding a current Enhanced DBS certificate, working to the DVSA Code of Practice.
Modern cars, latest safety tech
Well-specified dual-controlled cars with reversing cameras, 360° cameras and parking sensors, plus current driver-assist systems. Learn in the kind of car you’ll actually own.
iPad-led lessons & progress tracking
Junctions, roundabout lanes and manoeuvres shown visually before you drive them — and your progress tracked against the DVSA skills, so you can see exactly where you are.
Dual-controlled & fully insured
Full tuition insurance covering you as a pupil. You don’t need your own insurance to learn with us.
Automatic or manual, same price
No premium for learning in an automatic. Choose whichever suits your life, not your budget — and switch if the clutch is holding you back.
Seven days a week, 7am–9pm
Early mornings before work, evenings after college, weekends. Free pick-up from home, work, school or station within six miles.
Honest hours, honest pricing
We estimate the hours you actually need and review as you go. If you need fewer, you pay for fewer. Card, Amex and Klarna accepted.

Our instructors
Local instructors who know every test route
Our instructors are based here and teach here. They know the current Tolworth and Morden test routes, the junctions that catch learners out, and how to prepare you for the roads you will actually be examined on — and they are honest about when you are ready, rather than taking your money for a test you will fail.

Common questions
Do you cover my area?
We teach across 40 areas within six miles of Tolworth, including Surbiton, Kingston, New Malden, Chessington, Worcester Park, Morden, Esher and Epsom. Pick-up is free anywhere in that radius.
Do your instructors know the Tolworth and Morden test routes?
Yes. We are a Tolworth-based driving school and our instructors teach on the local test routes every week. They keep up with route changes and focus lessons where faults cluster: Tolworth Roundabout, the A3 slip roads, lane discipline on Hook Rise, Ewell Road and Tolworth Broadway, and the Rose Hill roundabout and St Helier estate near Morden.
Which test centre will I use?
Most of our pupils test at Tolworth (Douglas House, 1B Douglas Road, KT6 7RZ) or Morden (10 Tudor Drive, SM4 4PE). We teach the routes at both and provide test cover at both.
What cars do you teach in?
Modern, well-specified dual-controlled cars fitted with reversing cameras, 360-degree cameras and parking sensors, along with current driver-assist systems. Our instructors also use iPads and visual teaching aids to explain junctions, roundabout lane discipline and manoeuvres before you drive them, and to track your progress against the DVSA skills. We still teach observation first, so you are never relying on cameras or sensors alone.
Do I need my own car or insurance?
No. Every lesson is in a dual-controlled car with full driving-instruction insurance covering you as a pupil, including on test day if you book test cover.
How many hours will I need?
A complete beginner usually needs around 30 hours or more, someone with previous lessons often around 20, and a returning licence holder may need only 10. We assess you first and give you an honest estimate, then review it as you progress.
Can I learn in an automatic?
Yes, and it costs the same as manual with us. An automatic licence only allows you to drive automatics, but with every electric car being automatic that matters less than it once did.
Are your instructors DBS checked?
Yes. Every instructor is a DVSA Approved Driving Instructor and holds a current Enhanced DBS certificate. We also publish a safeguarding policy covering how we work with pupils under 18.
